Xuan
Specialises in entrance exam assessment and selective school exam strategy
ABOUT
- Xuan has been teaching since 2008 and has taught a wide range of subjects, including mathematics, english, verbal reasoning, science, music and geography.
- Her clear communication and engaging teaching style mean that students often enjoy learning with her and feel confident asking for support in other subjects.
- As more students asked her to teach them additional subjects, Xuan developed a broad and flexible teaching expertise across several academic areas.
- She now focuses primarily on using her expertise to build supporting tools and resources for students. She is the driving force behind Target Tuition group classes, Prep Ed, Studyqs and Target Tuition Shop, developing learning materials, assessment systems and educational content that support students beyond one-to-one lessons.
- Outside of work, Xuan enjoys daily walks with her family, discovering new TV shows and building websites and useful resources – which makes her work feel like the perfect balance of creativity and problem-solving. She has recently started her fitness journey after many years of having very little flexibility or coordination, though she does make up for it with an unusually fast typing speed of 110 words per minute.
